    Tebar 15.000 Benih Ikan, Bupati Jadikan Embung Linuwih Tempat Rekreasi

    KARANGANYAR-Bupati Karanganyar didampingi Kepala Dinas Pertanian, Pangan dan Perikanan dan Kepala Dinas Lingkungan Hidup hadiri kegiatan tabur benih ikan di embung Linuwih Desa Ngadiluwih Kecamatan Matesih pada Selasa (4/04/23).

    15.000 benih ikan tawes dan nilem ini merupakan bantuan dari Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Jawa Tengah.

    Kegiatan penebaran ikan ini merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam peningkatan gerakan “Gemar Makan Ikan”.

    Penebaran ikan ini juga merupakan langkah untuk peningkatan AKI (Angka Konsumsi Ikan) di Kabupaten Karanganyar. AKI di kabupaten Karanganyar sendiri hanya sebesar 22,7 kg/kapita jauh tertinggal dari Kabupaten Kota di Jawa Tengah lainya yang mencapai 37 kg/kapita dan Nasional 59 kg/kapita.

    Penebaran ikan ini merupakan langkah dalam merestoking ikan endemik yang sudah mulai menurun seperti ikan tawes dan ikan nilem.

    Menurut Bupati Karanganyar, karena Kabupaten Karanganyar tidak memiliki laut, maka dari itu hanya terdapat perairan umum seperti embung, kali, dan sebagian waduk perlu kita sebari (ikan). Upaya ini dilakukan agar masyarakat gemar mengkonsumsi ikan.

    Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Jawa Tengah sampaikan bahwa, selain menebar 15.000 benih ikan di Ngadiluwih Karanganyar ini, sebelumnya juga menebar benih ikan dengan jenis dan jumlah yang sama di Waduk Cengklik Boyolali. Tujuannya pun juga sama untuk meningkatkan angka konsumsi ikan.

    Sementara itu, Bupati Karanganyar Juliyatmono dalam pidato sambutannya, selain mengapresiasi program kerja dari Provinsi, orang nomor satu di bumi Intanpari ini mengaku akan merenovasi embung Linuwih ini agar bisa menjadi tempat wisata.

    Selain nantinya bisa digunakan untuk wahan rekreasi memancing bagi warga, Bupati mempunyai program bahwa Desa Ngadiluwih akan dijadikan centra kampung kambing/domba.

    ”Nantinya warga akan diberi bantuan berupa kambing/domba untuk dipelihara diternak agar menjadi banyak dan berkembang semakin banyak lagi. Selain menjadikan Ngadiluwih sebagai centra kampung kambing/domba,”jelasnya.

    Bupati yang akrab disapa Yuli ini juga menggagas agar disekitaran embung yang nantinya menjadi tempat rekreasi memancing ini warga banyak yang mendirikan rumah makan dengan menu-menu berbahan dasar olahan daging kambing.

    Agar nantinya lebih dikenal masyarakat luas lagi jika centra kampung kambing di Ngadiluwih ini juga menadi centra kuliner kambing. []
