    Elang Bondol Hinggap di Tangan Gibran

    SOLO-Tempat wisata hiburan dan edukasi satwa Solo Safari resmi dibuka untuk umum, Jumat (27/01/2023). Selain ditandai pemukulan gong, acara soft opening Solo Safari juga diselingi atraksi Wali Kota Solo Gibran Rakabuming Raka bersama Elang Bondol.

    Dalam acara soft opening Solo Safari itu, selain dihadiri Wali Kota Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Ketua Yayasan Konservasi Margasatwa Indonesia (YKMI) Agus Santoso, para petinggi Taman Safari Indonesia, juga dihadiri ratusan pelajar sekolah di Solo.

    Usai membuka Solo Safari, Gibran langsung disuruh mengenakan sarung tangan, awalnya se ekor Elang Bondol tidak mau hinggap di tangan Gibran, dan malah hinggap di sebatang pohon, yang kedua Elang juga enggan hinggap dan malah hinggap di pohon sebelah utaranya.

    Akhirnya setelah dicoba lagi Elang Bondol menghampiri dan hinggap di tangan Gibran, yang langsung disambut tepuk tangan semua yang hadir.

    Kejadian tersebut menyedot perhatian banyak pengunjung. Bahkaa ada beberapa pengunjung yang mengkaitkannya dengan Pilgub DKI Jakarta.

    Elang Bondol sendiri merupakan maskot dari Jakarta. Hal ini sempat ditanyakan dan mendapat tanggapan dari Gibran yang tengah dikaitkan dengan Pemilihan Gubernur (Pilgub) DKI Jakarta 2024.

    Saat dimintai konfirmasi, Gibran mengatakan atraksi dengan Elang Bondol itu tidak ada kaitannya dengan Pilgub DKI Jakarta 2024.

    “Nggak (ada hubungannya). Masak ya meh sama ondel-ondel,” kata Gibran saat ditemui wartawan di Solo Safari.

    Gibran menjelaskan Elang Bondol merupakan salah satu koleksi di Solo Safari. Keberadaan Elamg Bondol sendiri juga kian punah, sehingga dijadikan maskot Jakarta.

    “Ini termasuk termasuk binatang kita. Nggak ada hubungannya dengan DKI atau apa,” pungkas Gibran. []
